booze cruise weekend

hi. it reminded me of the booze cruises of old.the problems started in the terminal when we had to wait for ages to board they had a problem with the gang plank.far to many people in the building you could not hear them calling out.they could do with some screens to see what is going on.food next. breakfast and lunch in the buffett restaurant poor choice.not enough staff checking people cleaning there hands.hen party woman turning up at breakfast in pyjamas and dressing gowns.not enough china for hot drinks.dinner was ok but very small portions of meat one slice of beef ,two sliices of duck breast about 1inch big.one bite and its gone.cabin was ok bed comfy,, pillows very poor, dust on top of telly,picture frames .etc.the safe broke with our passports money etc inside ,it took a number of phone calls to reception and waiting in room for someone to turn up as we had to be in the room when they did turn up,.the casino was very small and cramped and it stank of sewage also very hot in there.lots of empty bottles and glasses in the lifts and window seals.afternoon tea was strange bringing cakes first then sandwiches later i always thought it was the other way round .on the good side i thought the ship coped with the bad wheather very well,nice to be able to make a cup of tea in the cabin.drinks and wine prices ok.p.s cabin sink would not drain away had to get that looked at.not sure we would book a short cruise again.tony
