Canaires on Azura
Mr and Mrs R J Ladyman | December 11, 2018 | P&O Cruises | Azura
Had a lovely cruise aboard the Azura despite the weather.
With 3085 passengers on board the ship was struggling to cope at the entertainment venues. Some people parking themselves on the available chairs and staying put all evening so even with two performances it was difficult on most occasions in the evening to gain access to the venues.
We only did one excursion which was the Scenes of Maderia and was very disappointed with the content and thought the charge was very expensive, hence we did not do any more and relied on the shuttle buses in various ports.
My husband lost a Gold Bracelet on board the ship and unfortunately nobody was kind enough to hand it in. The reception staff were quite negative when we checked with them daily to see if it had been found.
After disembarking at the end of the holiday one of our cases was missing and when reported we felt that it was not dealt with very professionally.
Finally we left our car with Cruise Parking on arrival on the 11th May we were made to stand and wait by our car with our luggage unloaded in the pouring rain and got thoroughly wet through before getting on the coach. On our return we were told by their representative she could’t tell us when a coach would come for us and quite a lot of other people. It was very windy standing in the middle of the cruise terminal car park, temperature was 7 degrees and we were kept waiting for 50 minutes. When the coach driver turned up he said he should have been off duty but everybody else was taking their tea break! This was so disappointing and therefore ,would not recommend this to anybody for car parking facilities.
Despite all this we did enjoy the cruise!
