Caribbean from Southampton 10 January 2013

First cruise on such a large ship, impressed that it never really felt crowded.
Plenty of different activites to take part in during the sea days.
We elected for Freedon Dining and thorughly enjoyed sampling all the different eating venues. Full marks for the Venezia where you could eat at almost any time of day and where the staff were always helpful. Can really recommend room service for breakfasts, toast always hot and it was a delight to eat breakfast on a balcony oin the sun as the ship came into the next island port.
Headliners were outstanding, never been ones for singing and dancing, we were completely won over!
Cabins more than adequate and were well serviced, daily information sheet very good too.
Only slight downsides were the fact that despite having completed medical forms no help was offered at Southampton to get on to the ship or stool for showering, some communication would have been appreciated. NOTE with regard to those with limited mobility do NOT go on the St Lucia beach break, the beach is steep and I would suggest dangerous, some in our party had to be helped out of the sea and others struggled with the undertow. The trip organisers didn’t seem the least bit interested.
Might well consider cruising again.
