Disappointing in some areas
Elizabeth Donnelly | January 20, 2020 | P&O Cruises | Azura
I have to say we were disappointed in our recent New Year Cruise on Azura. She is very tired looking both inside and out. Our cabin had seen better days and the carpet was badly stained and no underlay in areas. Our bathroom hadn’t been cleaned on our arrival but was soon rectified, but this shouldn’t have happened. The food in the MDR was good, hot and plentiful but service was slow on some evenings. The entertainment was hit and miss and some nights it was impossible to get a seat in the Manhattan. Such a badly designed venue in my opinion, same as Havana on the Ventura. I think the toilet system needs sorting as some days the smell of sewerage was terrible. We took a couple of P&O trips but nothing special and overpriced. We didn’t call at Grand Turk which was on our itinerary but Martinique instead and no reason was given for this. The entertainment staff just were not visable. If you passed them at anytime they just weren’t approachable.
Come on P&O get your act together.
