Fjiords June 2019
Allen Magill | June 17, 2019 | P&O Cruises | Azura
Full marks for embarkation process, from taxi to ship just 23 minutes! Have cruised on Azura before and standards have definitely dropped. Cabin was very well worn and shabby looking. Staff were pleasant and functional but numbers seemed to be reduced, particularly in the buffet areas. I did observe some very negative interactions between staff and other passengers. Entertainment was fairly standard with much reliance on pianists! Sail away parties could do with some fresh input – do we have to have YMCA etc every time? As a second class passenger ( aka early saver) I did not take up my dinner allocation as time and table size did not suit me. I made a polite and brief attempt to change this but it was very clear that it was going to be too much trouble, so I reverted to the buffet option every night. Food was ok but again did not fully meet my expectations based on previous Azura experience. Have P&O done away with feedback forms? Did not get one onboard and to date no email follow up.
