Greek Islands with P&O Cruises

Staff and food was very good. We were on fixed dining. We found the menu very repetitive, with the same vegetables each day. However the waiters were faultless and went out of their way to help.
I have crutches and have problem with walking. So went to book up excursions for people with difficulties only to find they have completely sold out. When we said surely as the boat is full they would put more excursions on. We was told we only get what the agency send WHICH IS NOT GOOD ENOUGH. Yes we could have booked on line but there was NOT enough information on how mobile you had to be to enable an enjoyable excursion. So we had to venture out on our own. Fine but there was no info as to how far it was to walk to where we could get to a shuttle bus or the town. On one occasion it was a good 20 minute walk to get into the town as no shuttle. Yet on our return the excursion buses was passing us to take their passengers right up to the ship. On one occasion we didn’t leave the ship and couldn’t believe how quiet it was on the ship. It was like the Marie Celeste. There was NO entertainment at all unless we wanted to watch an animated film. The whole cruise was totally disorganised.
The entertainment in the evening was very good but you had to get to to the theatre half an hour beforehand to be able to get a seat.
The really sad thing about the cruise and staff have said its a thing thats happening so much now is people pretending to be disabled and getting wheelchairs and assistance so therefore they are 1st in queues and on the bus. On one occasion a woman (with wheelchair and crutches) was getting all the attention and assistance from staff to get on buses etc in Athens. Next day she was seen walking 10 times round the Promenade deck without any assistance or crutches. When somebody reported this the staff told them that its happening more and more now but there’s nothing we can do.
As I say the staff are faultless. Waiters and especially cabin staff are superb. At sea entertainment in the day was quite repetitive. We just found information on mobility etc was totally disorganised.
