May 14 holiday

We very much enjoyed our recent cruise around the Med. Our cabin, stewards, restaurant food and service were their usual high standard. However we did not some cost cutting measures in place, such as there is no longer an overview of your cruise so you can check what entertainment is arranged for the fortnight so you can plan when you might wish to use the speciality restaurants. The food available in the main restaurants is now served plated – there are no additional vegetable served so if you do not like the vegetables tough – the reason given was that the chefs chose the vegetables to compliment the meal chosen – however many nights the vegetables were identical, peas, peas and more peas! We did miss not being able to have the assorted vegetables like we are used to.
We found the entertainment to be set for an older audience however the Headline Theatre Company were fantastic and performed each production very well.
