We were off to a bad start. The cruise was delayed by 2 days. We were not notified by Bolsover at all and P&O only contacted us at 5.00pm the night before due departure. Two ports were deleted from the itinerary and unlike some we were not given the option to cancel. Compensation is nil, just money back for days missed and 10% off next cruise should you choose to take one.
As for the cruise itself – the decor of the ship was dated and overall looked tired. The food was no more than ok and became monotonous – we didn’t increase our girth!
It didn’t help that the weather was not good and like other ships there was no covered pool, so no swimming as the water was freezing!
All in all I would not use [email protected] again, this was my first and last.
