Port advise and General
K Kay | June 18, 2016 | P&O Cruises | Azura
It was our second trip on the Azura, the staff were brilliant, as usual, The ship fittings are a bit tired but still clean. The food was good but selection of vegetables was sparse and limited on the waiter service dining. The service in Freedom dining was very slow due to popular demand, so much so that we would miss the theatre. The theatre houses 850 people, there are two shows, total 1700 therefore a lot of disappointed passengers not able to get a seat. Get there early to save disappointment.
Cadiz .. Open top bus outside the ship was expensive and poor value, consider walking around yourself , or a P&O trip.
Messina…. A trip to mount Etna , or other is favourable as not a lot to see in that Port.
Malta… An open top bus for ?ª10 was excellent value, we were on the bus for 3 hours and could have had a boat trip and a trip on the other half of the island too. Food and drink there very reasonable.
Venice…. There is a monorail just outside the Port that takes you into Venice for ?ª1. Yes you read that correctly, ?ª1 excellent value.
Overall a good holiday.
