Pretty Good Trip
Prestonman | December 11, 2013 | P&O Cruises | Azura
17 Nights on Azura – A313N – Central Med – Southampton to Venice and back.
Check in was good – Mayflower Terminal – much better than the Ocean Terminal.
Booked a Getaway deal – Cabin was inside Mid Ship on deck 11 excellent location, attentive Steward, so saved over ?600 per person –
Table of 8 second sitting in the Mayflower, ate there 13 out of 17, only 2 not so good experiences, so again overall good, although choice has certainly been condensed. Ate twice at Sindhu, first time not so good, food was not as hot as I am used too. however agrgued the point on the second occassion, and consistency and strength where spot on. Value for money. Used the Tratoria twice – again very good, Glasshouse once – brilliant. Did use No17, primarily as I thought it overpriced – ?28.00 p.p. add on wine etc, and you have no change out of ?75.00.
Entertainment – again good although I have now watched the Headliners shows at least three times each – so if anyone from P&O reads this – kindly consider some changes. Stand up acts were in the main good although Lulu and a Phil Collins tribute were pretty bad. Whilst billed as Strictly, if I had went specially for that theme I would have felt short changed – 1 show only.
