Standards falling
IIan Peat | May 14, 2019 | P&O Cruises | Azura
Recently returned from Caribbean on P & O Azura 7th- 21st february 2013. I don’t wish to sound too critical as we did enjoy the holiday but having been on a numbre of P & O cruise in the last few years, standards are definitley falling. The choice & standard of food in the silver service restaurants has dropped, the evenibg entertainment, particularly the Headliners group is generally poor. Whilst the songs may have changed the routines have been almost identical for the past 5 yrears and the lead singers & dancers are certainly not as good as in the past.
Also disgusted that we should have to pay an extra ?15 per head per flight to be able to sit together. My wife is deaf & it is important that we sit together so that I can explain any message over the intercom system. Why should we have to pay extra for this privelege. Also only one free drink, apart from tea & coffee, on a 9 hour flight is poor.
Unfortunately I suffered a severe back problem halfway through the cruise. The medical staff were excellent. Expensive but thank goodness for insurance.
