The good and the bad
Cruiser A | June 1, 2023 | P&O Cruises | Azura
Having just finished a cruise on the Azura which we thoroughly enjoyed I would make the following observations.
They have done away with the trays in the buffet, which means you either have to make more than one journey to the buffet which makes the queues even longer especially when it’s at busy times and they shut all but one of the buffets, or try and carry all courses at once, not easy when the main course plate is red hot.
The other is excursions.
While we found the guides to be very knowledgeable it would be better if when you arrive at a particular destination/ venue the guides immediately told you what time and where the coach would leave to return to the ship.
This would allow guests who would like to make their own journey around the attraction to do so and those that wanted the guided tour to carry on, we found that you ended up with very little time to look at or do what you wanted to do yourself at the end of the guided tour.
Finally the staff / crew were great.
The steward first class
The entertainment great
Well done P &O (just do something about the above).
