Tired and dull.
Roy & Janet Barlow | October 28, 2019 | P&O Cruises | Azura
The clue is in the title, tired and dull. This was our first cruise for a long time the previous one having been on a Princess line ship and it was difficult not to compare. Everything seemed to be very brown and beige and very tired looking, there wasn’t the ‘sparkle’ that we had been expecting. Our shower tray had a crack in it and the shower curtain kept coming adrift. In the Brodie’s bar there was a shortage of low tables and chairs at busy times.Having said all that I have to say that everything else was fine, the food and entertainment were up to expectations and the crew were exceptional, nothing being too much trouble. This experience hasn’t put us off P&O but we’ll be checking the reviews on other ships before booking for next year.
