A good time.
Mrs L Gambles | March 24, 2019 | P&O Cruises | Britannia
At the time of booking I asked if there was a formal night on a mini cruise ( so that I knew what to pack ) and was told no, just smart casual. And then after boarding, Surprise surprise, yes you guessed it, on the sunday night it was black tie. I was very disappointed at being given the wrong information. On the same evening in the dining room, we were sat at a table for 6 and the service was very slow. We hadn’t even had our coffee when the waiter came across and asked us to vacate the table because they needed it for another party. How rude!!
That’s the moaning done.
12th September was a gloriously sunny and warm day, so when we boarded we headed up to the lido deck and ordered cocktails and were given a spectacular display from the Red Arrows overhead. Fantastic start to the mini break.
Britannia is a beautiful ship and looking forward to boarding again in November.
