B914 cruise
Pauline Bellini | June 10, 2019 | P&O Cruises | Britannia
Although we’ve cruised with P&O many times before ,this was our 1st time on board the Britannia! I really , really wanted to love her but in fact I was a bit disappointed and as a result I have decided that Ventura , Azura & Oceana are the ships for me . Now let me tell you why ! The atrium was (in my opinion) wasted due to not having a dance area or even an area to appreciate the entertainment, the Cristal room dance floor was too small and the adult jacuzzi ‘s were in the retreat and only available to those who paid to use this area. There was lots & lots of sun beds but very few recliner chairs and as not every one is capable of getting on and off the sun beds we ended up sitting most of the time on uncomfortable chairs that were ok to sit & eat a snack not good for sunbathing. Finally the drinks package of £39.99 each per day when one is tea total (can’t drink that much tea fgs) and the other one likes a couple of drinks but would not drink nearly £80 worth in a day without needing a stomach pump is a bit too much (this of course goes for all the P&O ships ! Just my gripe lol)
