Big is sometimes better
John E Lewis | September 7, 2019 | P&O Cruises | Britannia
Embarkation a bit chaotic-kept in shed apparently until cabins were ready but would have preferred to be allowed on board and waited there.
Lovely ship but what an error in not have central stairway. Frustrating in having to wait for lifts when only wishing to go up/down one or two levels.
Biggest grumble-seats in smaller show venue should be cleared between performances so that those on second sitting would stand little chance of getting a table/seat. Some passengers were using this room simply as a bar and staying on after first performance and so no room on too many occasions.
Big improvement in quality of food by P & O – almost up to Celebrity standards but they need to keep an eye on their drinks pricing as increases are becoming something of concern.
Would like to see P & O do away with their tipping policy and either leaving it up to individual passengers or better still make a small increase in initial cruise cost and have tips included.
Overall great cruise and the above minor irritations can be rectified.
