HI ALL, NOT THE BEST REVIEW YOU WILL EVER READ. WE WRITE AS MEMBERS OF THE P&O PENINSULAR CLUB ONLY TO PROVE THAT WE DO CRUISE A FAIR BIT. WE BOOKED ON BRITANNIA AFTER ALL THE PUBLICITY IT HAS HAD.NEVER AGAIN.IT IS THE WORST DESIGNED SHIP IN OUR OPINION P&O HAVE GOT.
THE ONLY THINGS EXTRA ARE THE CABINS AND NUMBER OF PASSENGERS.EVERYTHING ELSE IS FOR A SMALL SHIP.THE LIFTS ARE HALF THE SIZE OF OTHER SHIPS(ORIANA,OCEANA ETC) IT IS A JOKE GETTING ONE. A SCOOTER FILLS IT OR A WHEEEL CHAIR) THE THEATRE IS A LOTTERY. WE MISSED THREE SHOWS IN SPITE OF BEING THERE 30 MINUTES BEFORE THE SHOWS. THE FOOD WAS P&O STANDARD, VERY GOOD AS USUAL, BUT THE SERVICE WAS NOT THEIR NORMAL STANDARD( WE PUT THIS DOWN TO THE GRATUITIES SYSTEM.I STILL BELIEVE IN TIPPING THOSE WHO DESERVE TIPPING. IF THE WEATHER HAD BEEN GOOD WE WOULD HAVE HAD PROBLEMS GETTING A SPACE ,LET ALONE A SUN BED, AS THER WERE SEVERE SHORTAGE OF SPACE, AND NO PROMENADE DECK TO WALK OR SIT AND RELAX. THE ATRIAM IS ANOTHER JOKE, WITH ONE FLOOR WITH ABSOLUTELY NO SEATING.WE HAVE ALWAYS BEEN P&O BIASED, BUT IT MAY BE TIME TO GIVE OTHERS A TRY. OUR DISAPPOINMENT IS SO STRONG
