Britannia-3rd January to 20th January 2018

The outward and inward flights from Manchester to Barbados were fine as was the service from the Thomas Cook staff,
Passport Control at Barbados was efficient and smooth, as was the entry on to the ship.
The ship seemed huge after all the other P & O vessels we have been on in previous years, and we did not see some parts of the vessel during the whole of our trip.
Service in the Peninsula dining room was efficient, courteous and helpful, and we met some delightful people on the cruise.
The cabin staff were efficient and helpful, but the towels seemed grey, whether this was due to age or the washing facilities is unknown, and the air conditioning in certain public areas was too cold.
We attended the Headline Theatre, every night except 2, and the shows were superb, and worthy of the London stage, especially the Britannia players and the vocalists. Whilst there were 2 opportunities at drinks parties to meet the Captain, it was sad that he did not appear to go round the ship as in previous years.
Overall it was a magnificent holiday, and a delight to renew our acquaintance with P & O and Carnival.
