Britannia British Isles
Ceby | September 1, 2014 | P&O Cruises | Britannia
B513 British Isles cruise P&O Britannia.
Just perfect. Yes it did rain (a lot) but it’s not like I booked the Canaries. No such thing as bad weather, just bad clothes.
Loved the ship. Beautiful decor and plenty of space. Even on sea days there was plenty of room to sit inside (remember it was raining). A large ship as expected, yet the design is so good all the public areas are within easy reach.
As many cruisers have said before the lifts are small and only two main sets of stairs is not enough on such a large ship. That for me was the only downside. If I want to be really picky the position of the TV in an inside single cabin is in a truly awkward place (to the left of the bed when laying in it).
Open deck areas stunning. Plenty of lovely comfortable places to sit. Some nice features like a Grab & Go food outlet for hot and cold meals/snacks. The Horizon buffet area stunning with lots of quiet areas (most of the time).
I would like to shake the hand of the person responsible for the decor – just stunning.
Normal P&O high standards of food and cleanliness. Lucky enough to have Neil Oliver the best entertainment director on the planet on this cruise.
Summarise in one word PERFECT
