Caribbean Cruise 9th November
David K | April 12, 2018 | P&O Cruises | Britannia
The crew were friendly, helpful and informative. Cabin steward Donald worked tirelessly yet remained friendly and courteous. Entertainment was first class and the ship’s theatre company were amazing. A highlight was the dancing classes run by Ian & Penny. Thoroughly enjoyed learning a new skill. They were very personable and great teachers. What a great way to spend a couple of hours on a sea day – being sociable and keeping fit at the same time. It’s a pity the evening dances were not longer so we could practice more.
The Peninsular restaurant was very good and the food there was excellent. Unfortunately, not all the waiting staff were of the same high standard as others. Some appeared disinterested, some looked absolutely miserable. On the first formal night, one stood behind me yawning. It’s a shame because the majority were friendly and attentive.
