Caribbean cruise on Brittania January 28th
Margaret Watkinson | March 2, 2023 | P&O Cruises | Britannia
Having been on many caribbean cruises with p & o previously and really looking forward to this cruise which had been booked for almost 2 years we felt totally let down. The extra touches that made the cruise feel special have been cut the fine dining experience is definitely no longer there , food quality and menu choice is very poor and there was nothing special on the menu on gala nights. We managed to eat in Sindhu restaurant one night for a change which was good, we never managed to get a booking for the other restaurants so ate in the peninsular restaurant
The food in the horizon restaurant was bland boring and barely warm. Unfortunately the holiday has gone from 5 star to 2 star butlins at sea and booking so far in advance we paid 5 star price for 2 star holiday, many people we spoke to had paid half price for their cabins .We had two cruises booked for 2024 and 2025 on Arvia and have now cancelled 2024 and will probably cancel 2025 if p & o standards don’t improve, we were not alone in feeling let down as many other passengers who have cruised with p & o previously felt the same that standards have dropped considerably.
In summary was the cruise worth £6000 – ABSOLUTELY NO WAY
