Christmas / New Year Cruise

First time aboard Britannia. Our preference is smaller ships but did enjoy all that Britannia has to offer. We were very impressed with the dinning experience (both food and service) but frustrated that the wine waiter had so many tables to mange: he did not have the time to give, to manage the tables as he is so capable of providing excellent service (our first night we did not even get a drink).

Disappointing was the capacity of the Live Lounge, being seated second for dinner often meant that was no seats were available to enjoy what would have been excellent entertainment. The Headliners Theatre always had capacity and we did enjoy some excellent entertainment. We did encounter a mechanical fault with the HVAC system in our cabin on arrival but it was fixed both professionally and very promptly . It was our second voyage with Captain Rob Camby, and in my opinion he is the epitome of professionalism, a fantastic leader who I am sure the staff are proud to serve, I looked forward to his “thought of the day”. It was a great cruise filled with great memories.
