Cruise to Canary Islands – 30.09.17 – 13.10.17
Christopher W Scott and Beryl D Scott MBE | November 3, 2016 | P&O Cruises | Britannia
My wife Beryl and I travelled on this cruise ship expecting it to be better than the Arcadia, it wasn’t.
The food was excellent, the service was very good and the cabin service could not have been better.
In our personal opinion the ship (liner) is too big for us, and worst of all the lifts on the ship caused very big problems with able bodied persons and disabled people all trying to get into the lifts which was extremely difficult. The lifts just could not cater for the large number of persons, with many wanting to up or down and when 2 wheelchair users got into a lift, there was no further room for anyone. I would suggest that the lifts are redesigned.
One of the problems is that there is no stairs between Decks 11 and 6 Midships.
In future we will only cruise on the Arcadia or Oriana, two much small cruise liners.
