Fly & Cruise
Peter Coleman | January 2, 2015 | P&O Cruises | Britannia
OK / good. Not as good as Cunard’s QM2 & QV. When we wanted a relaxed holiday we experienced too many sales offers and too many shops to walk past. Buffet food left out some healthy foods. Orange juice and other juices were not available after 12noon. On enquiry staff said they were on sale elsewhere. Yoghurts were not available for lunch or later. Fully skimmed milk was not available so far as we could find out. Buffet staff seemed not to know but some milk was labelled skimmed milk but was probably semi-skimmed. Freedom restaurant was very good when we used that. Mostly we preferred to eat when we wanted, pick what we wanted and in a quantity we wanted. The gymnasium was better than Cunard’s. In general the holiday was good & OK, but we preferred Cunard’s holidays.
