Been on the Azura for the last 3 years and this is a step up from that.
Pulse (house band)
Rest of the entertainment
Air con to cold in many areas
Noisy daytime inappropriate ” music”
They appear to have done a good job with this ship and apart from a couple of configuration mistakes, can be pleased with themselves. The layout issues are, that to get to and from the back of the ship you have to go through the Horizon restaurant and on the floor up you have to go through the gym. Could do with some stairs mid ships while waiting for the lifts (max no people 18! No way).
Entertainment was poor apart from the excellent house band Pulse. Headliners group only put 3 shows on that we’re technically impressive but lacked warmth. The DJ on the Lido deck appeared to pay no attention to the make up of the people there and played his own bursts of loud R&B which wasn’t very relaxing.
Would I go again, Yes.
On a final note if you are traveling via Thomsons Dreamliner aircraft, then wrap up well as its freezing.
