Lovely, but expensive extras
Margaret Whilde | January 2, 2019 | P&O Cruises | Britannia
We love cruising and really enjoyed this Caribbean one. However, we have noticed there are more cover charges required than ever before. As we were celebrating a 70th birthday, we dined at The Epicurean. Very nice, but not worth the extra £28.00 per person. Similarly The Sindhu, very nice but not worth the extra £20.00 per person.
The Limelight £25.00 p.p. extra, Glass House was A La Carte, and the Beach House was £7.50 pp extra, none of which we used. The Pilates class was extra, as were some cookery events which we would have liked to experience, but at a cover charge of £45,00, this was out of our budget, as were many other activities. We booked a trip, which included two hours at a beach. They were charging US$30 for sunbeds and brollies/we now know why these were not included in the price of the trip!!
I did have some acupuncture treatment, and I must say although expensive it solved my problem. I can definitely, recommend Dr Abhi for painless acupuncture that really works.
