Norwegian Fjords – May 2019

This was our first cruise experience and we weren’t disappointed. Even in spite of a slight delay on embarkation everything went like clockwork. Our cabin was spacious to say the least and was kept tidy and fresh for the duration of our stay. The ship itself was impressive throughout. It was nice to see so many active staff, who were always attentive, friendly and very courteous.
We chose freedom dining and sat most nights in the Peninsula restaurant. We were so impressed with the service, attention to detail and quality of food was very good.

Lunch in the buffet was a little chaotic as might be expected, that’s the buffet style of eating. Even in the buffet, choice and quality was exceptional, even taking into account one of us is vegan!
And the destination itself…..you have to see the Fjords to appreciate it. For us, Olden was the highlight, take a trip beyond Olden to see its unforgettable beauty.

And not forgetting the booking experience with The Cruise Club, service was polite and beyond helpful, having some personal preferences, these were relayed maticulously to P&O and added the finishing touch to a wonderful holiday.

Definitely no “buts” in this review!!
