Not our best cruise

Although I have travelled on Britannia twice before and my partner once before, there was a different atmosphere on her this time. The ship has had a refit, but there are areas that could do with a good clean!! The Whitewall gallery has replaced the Blue Bar which I think was a shame, this area was a comfortable quiet area to talk and have a drink, now there is a bar overlooking the atrium, which can be noisy and it’s a thoroughfare. The cabin was kept clean by our cabin steward Terry, but the carpet was badly stained and the shower head was disgusting, (this was replaced when we informed reception). The staff in the dining room were very good, the meals ok. They seem to have cut back on the amount of staff there are serving drinks and coffee/ teas, and had to wait on quite a number of occasions. We met some lovely people and enjoyed the excursion to Bonaire. We were surprised how busy it was with families. Would we travel on Britannia again, probably not.
