P and O standards slipped
Jane Jones | November 13, 2022 | P&O Cruises | Britannia
Having cruised with P and O for many years, this cruise which we are still on, has finally driven us to decide not to use this company again. We are in the Caribbean on Britannia finally taking a cruise which was cancelled due to Covid. The drunken behaviour of a small but vocal group of passengers who bought the cruise at a bargain rate only a week before sailing ( paying £1000 less than others) has been the tipping point. A much reported fight between two women over sunbeds and another widely reported one involving a large group of people resulted in these people being put off the ship in two different ports. The remaining heavy drinkers are still with us. P and O is struggling financially so it’s standards, for example the dress code have slipped. This is fast becoming the UK version of Carnival. So thanks P and O but we are off to Princess, Fred Olsen or Royal Caribbean.
