Standards are slipping
Janet Rogerson | November 20, 2017 | P&O Cruises | Britannia
We were concerned about the size of the ship but that was not a problem. The ship was beautiful. The dancing, our passion, was the best we have experienced on P&o with Andy and Victoria.
The food was good but not as good as previous cruises. I had to send a meal back as it was so over salted it was inedible.
The sound system on top deck was so loud that we were unable to attend the sail aways. Other than that the entertainment was good but the lectures on ports were poor.
My husband picked up the ‘bug’ that was going round the ship. It only affected the last two days and I was not confined to cabin. The medical staff were great. Arrangements to get us off the ship were a nightmare. We were told to keep our luggage as we were to be escorted ashore. This didn’t happen and I had to man handle all the luggage myself in the lift and off the ship. I am 65.
We are trying Celerity next time.
