Staycation Experience

Booked Britannia for 4 night “Staycation” Cruise and for the first time booked a suite. We were fully informed of what to expect and what documentation we would require to board. Embarcation was fairly smooth despite a hiccup with the Covid lateral flow reporting.
On board everything was well organised and you felt safe. Infection control measures were evident but discrete. All the staff we encountered were helpful and cheerful.
Britannia is a large ship but not massive and well accessible for wheelchairs in public places. She was spotlessly clean and the decor is far better since her last refit.
Dining was well organised with the use of what is referred to as an “App” which is actually an interactive web page.
The food in the main restaurants was very good. We ate in The Epicurean, the fine dining restaurant which has an additional charge. The meal was beyond excellent! We also dined in Sindhu, the Indian restaurant and again this was brilliant.
The suite was roomy and well equipped. As it was an aft suite it had a large balcony. The butler and room steward was very pleasant and friendly.
Waiting somewhat impatiently for next time
