Very much like an all inclusive break!

People do compare on board spends so at £700 for our balcony cabin we did seem to have more than the majority but we did struggle to spend it all, even with large glasses of wine & cocktails nightly plus visits to all 3 specialty restaurants, we also bought a camera & necklace! All of the on board entertainment was excellent but you need to get a seat early, do not under estimate how popular the shows are!

This was our first cruise & yes we did enjoy it (and have booked another cruise) but sometimes I did feel like I was at an all inclusive hotel with the pile it high, eat as much as you can mentality in the buffet restaurant, we much preferred to eat in the Meridian & Peninsular restaurants & it was very nice to sit with different people each night on Freedom Dining, only once did we have to wait for a table.

We looked forward to checking our ‘letter box’ every night for the daily Horizon magazine which tells you what is going on each day. Plus your cabin TV has lots of info on shore excursions, info on the ships route & British TV.

Most times we walked up & down the stairs, you can wait ages for a lift at popular time of the day!
