Well done Britannia
Julie Raynes | January 4, 2019 | P&O Cruises | Britannia
Our second time on Britannia & apart from the rust on the balcony steelwork there was very little wear & tear from our first cruise back in Jan 2016 when Britannia was only 10 months old.
However, we completed a feedback form during our cruise & commented on the lack of variety of food in the Horizon buffet, mainly the salad content & lack of carvery meats, to give them their due we were contacted by the Catering Manager who totally addressed our comments & a couple of days later this was apparent. Glasshouse is worth a mention too, top notch food all paid for by our onboard spend but the restaurant lacks space, hopefully when Britannia goes in for a refit later this year that will be addressed. Bolsover Cruise staff are very polite, courteous & made sure every aspect of our holiday requirements were met.
NB: I agree with Peter’s comments about bronchitis, my husband too suffered from this, in fact, all the people on the ship seemed to have a cough, we nicknamed it the ‘Britannia cough’ and yes I agree wholeheartedly that it was the aircon.
