Western Caribbean March 2018
Joyce McCall | March 4, 2018 | P&O Cruises | Britannia
Our first Caribbean cruise and overall we enjoyed the experiences. All destinations visited were wonderful and easy to find our way around when we didn’t go on an excursion. Britannia – although only 3 years old I agree with a previous review, she is definitely in need of a refurb. We found the hand washing facilities at the entrance to Horizon restaurant still out of order, the towels in the cabins, both bath and beach towels are thin and threadbare. Same applies to sheets. I found the cabins to be very small, even the ones with balconies, which we had. The shower room hardly big enough to turn round in. Have had much bigger cabins on other ships. The staff seemed tired and most of them I spoke to were looking forward to going home. Overall the ship was clean and service reasonable but I would not be in a hurry to holiday on Britannia again.
