Canaries on IONA
Kevin White | April 9, 2023 | P&O Cruises | Iona
Cruise to Canaries on only freedom dining Iona, had heard very mixed messages about this form of dining. Although we liked the formal set time dining we found the variety of dining venues excellent, the My Holiday app worked better than it had on our previous cruise on Britannia so no problems booking what we wanted to do.
Brilliant entertainment, we were lucky to see Gary Barlow concert which was the icing on the cake.
Staff were very friendly and professional, seem to be sorting staffing level out.
Our only regret was that with Freedom dining we missed the friendships we have previously made with Set Time and table dining as you don’t really get to know the people you dine with ie:- aquaintances as opposed to friends.
But overall an excellent cruise.
