Covid on ship and terrible response to complaints.
David Boyce | July 18, 2022 | P&O Cruises | Iona
Went on a 7 day Norwegian cruise on Iona from Southampton. We were upgraded to level 15 but on accessing our balcony we had a restricted view, steel supports and above deck steel over our head and stretching out several metres so when you looked up we lost a large view area. Staff unhelpful in relocating us to another cabin. The whole ship had the so called “air conditioning cough” but 3 out of our party of 4 caught covid on board the ship. On returning home I complained and after nearly three weeks I eventually got a cold and very disappointing response from Mr Gomez. Not really concerned about my complaint and offered £150 towards another cruise, no concern or apology about us catching covid and saying it was a shaded balcony. We will never cruise with P&O again.
