Enjoyable cruise
William Chilcott | March 2, 2023 | P&O Cruises | Iona
We were on the Iona for the “Valentines”Cruise from 11th to 18th February. The ship is great (our second time on Iona) and although it was at full capacity of 5500 passengers, we could always find somewhere to sit and relax. It did get busy in the self service restaurants, but a bit of patience and the ability to dodge people carrying full trays made it very manageable.
We preferred the main restaurants as it made for a more relaxing experience.
The staff were excellent, all very polite and friendly, the food was good (in all venues), the drinks are at good prices (for what is comparable to a 4 star London hotel) as they are the same as what you would pay in a pub.
We were in a balcony cabin on deck 10 mid forward, which was a reasonable size, comfortable and well equipped.
We enjoyed the entertainment and have no complaints relating to P&O and this cruise ship.
