First time on Iona

Having successfully completed all pre cruise paperwork embarkation was simple and quick.
Once on board we had to find our way around as it is very different to all the other P and O ships we had been on.
We have always done fine dining so had to work out how and where to dine.
Our late departure from Southampton meant we missed our first port of call which was very disappointing.
The weather during the week was not great and high winds does have a serious affect on the ship meaning we missed another port.
However you know that weather and safety come first.
The food was good, horizon for breakfast and lunch pearl for dinner.
We had one meal in Sindu.
The entertainment was brilliant and enjoyed pulse once again they were on Brittania in February.
We would like to have seen the captain and heard more from him his messages were brief.
Overall the ship is good but I think too big.
Too crowded and to weather dependant.
We may go on her again but not to the fjords.
