G308 Iona Northern Europe
Christina Rollason | April 16, 2023 | P&O Cruises | Iona
I travelled solo to test the brand for my partner and I as we love to sail from UK and good deals often come up. There was much to commend the ship and I think it is an excellent product. The staff were great with me and although the food was inconsistent in the MDR, it was mostly good and the optional places were very good. The organisation was amazing and it was really lovely to see families enjoying themselves. My problem and the reason I will not sail with P&O again was my own and not a fault of the ship – I couldn’t bear the relentless inescapable piped music especially the catatonic beat. Even when I got up at 0500 a.m. it was playing including the self playing piano ! ….everyone else loved or didn’t notice I am sure. Glad I went as now I know. The comfort score just applies to me.
