Iona 19th February 2022
Norman Scrimshaw | March 16, 2022 | P&O Cruises | Iona
People who block booked for the theatre no matter what was on and then failed to show or cancelled at the last minute meant that we actually never got into any. Having waited over 30 minutes to be told it was full but if we hung on there may be someone not turn up. Why the restrictions on seating applied was ridiculous, first visit to restaurant we had to sit with 8 other people. There was no quoits etc organised. No ballroom dancing. In the cabin there was not enough space for all clothes, and the wardrobe was so tight up to the bed when you opened the door out almost touched the bed.
On the plus side the food and restaurants were excellent, the bathroom was an improvement. The embarkation was a nightmare but the disembarkation was easy and well organised. This for all its nice restaurants and bars etc the Iona was far too big for our liking
