Iona christmas and new year
Sandra Smith | January 12, 2023 | P&O Cruises | Iona
This was the worst cruise we have been on. The cabin and balcony were small- my husband had to remove one of the bedside tables to enable us to open the wardrobe. We could not pass each other as there wasn’t enough room. There were sharp edges on the towel rail- my husband sustained a nasty gash and bruising to his right forearm. Using the app to book meals and shows was chaotic and a complete shambles. It was easier to go to the self service restaurant. The food was not good and was only ever just warm. Christmas dinner was awful – cold and took 3hours many people walked out. If we had been on shore to a restaurant and served that meal I would have refused to pay and walked out. If you managed to get into a show the entertainment was most disappointing. Many of the passengers also were totally disappointed. I spoke to many of them all having complaints. One man said it was his 42nd cruise and his worst experience to date. If this had been our first cruise we would not have done another. As it is we will not be cruising again.
