Best Cruise To Date
Colin Morris | January 23, 2016 | P&O Cruises | Ventura
We have just returned from the eastern Med. We were warned against Ventura as too large with screaming kids. totally wrong. She is a ship full of life with top class facilities, excellent entertainment and (as with all P&O ships)great staff. The Captain is very professional but with a lively sense of humour and this seems to permeate to the rest of the staff.
Our cabin, again chosen with great care with the help of Bolsover, was first class with an excellent streward and our table was great as usual.
Our only gripe was the strange mixes of fod but I have to admit it was well cooked and well presented with brilliant service.
The ports were wonderful and, as Val had a knee replacement recently, our choice of excursions limited; however, those picked were great.
we placed a deposit on our next P&O cruise which, dependant on Val’s next knee replacement, will be trans atlantic to the Caribbean the autumn.
