Canaries (12 nights)
VINCENT MORRIS | July 30, 2018 | P&O Cruises | Ventura
This is the third time we have used Ventura – sadly standards are slipping somewhat.
On arrival at Southampton for embarking, it was difficult trying to get the attention of a porter.
We asked for Freedom Dining or Club First sitting – we were designated second sitting.
The cabin stewardess couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly – perhaps a touch too much! [she was new to this.] Restaurant food was, as usual, first class.
Entertainment average – no classical performers and the “comedy” contributions unfunny.
Many unruly children running about unsupervised – especially in swimming areas.
Excursions taken were fine.
Disembarkation was disappointing – no toilet paper in public areas.
We’ll probably give P&O Cruises one more shot – but not on the Ventura.
