Really enjoyed our first cruise. I was a bit apprehensive as to how it would go, especially for my 2 children but this was all unnecessary. From the moment we got to Southampton the staff both at the port and onboard couldn??t do enough. My children loved the kids clubs and the staff made such a fuss of them, as soon as my 5-year-old opened his eyes in the morning he wanted to go back. Very surprised we didn??t suffer from seasickness but this is probably to do with Ventura size, she is huge. It took us a few days to get our bearings but we soon got the hang of it. The facilities onboard are great, food was exquisite, our cabin steward was lovely and the restaurant staff were brilliant! Little disappointed that Lanzarote was cancelled however the entertainment team did an amazing job keeping us occupied onboard as we headed for Grand Canaria, where we had an overnight stay and full day in port. This was fantastic as we got to go out for a meal in the evening and have a walk about. Will definitely be cruising again!!
