Caribbean cruise Ventura January 2016
Mary Colson | November 4, 2016 | P&O Cruises | Ventura
We sailed away from Southampton on a grey winters day after a superb check in system which is now in operation. The crossing to Madeira was a little choppy and we had a lovely stop in Madeira and visited the Fish and Veg market. The crossing of the Atlantic was quite good with a bit of swell but with the sunshine and warm air it only got better. We arrived in Barbados early and had the benefit of the night in Georgetown. After that all the islands were superb sunny and warm. This was a brilliant winter cruise to escape our winter and will be doing the same next year if possible.
