Caribbean February 2013
JayJay | October 11, 2013 | P&O Cruises | Ventura
Returned from Ventura in Caribbean after an excellent cruise organised by Bolsover Travel from our local airport – only 25 minutes from home after a long flight was a bonus! Thomson flight was on time, collected from aircraft steps and straight to ship, did not see cases from check in until they arrived in cabin. We have not been with P & O before(but have cruised before) and never been to Caribbean either. Can honestly say we had a fantastic time. The islands visited were similar but very different – there could have been more visits as there are 4 days at sea but I guess it is down to cost. We didnt do any trips with the ship as there were always plenty of taxis waiting to take you around their islands. The food on board was very good and you would have to be a very fussy eater to not find something to your liking. We ate in the self service for breakfast and lunch and the Saffron restaurnant in the evenings. The entertainment on board from the Headliners team was excellent and most of the guest acts were really good Special mention to Gareth Oliver-ventriloquist-he was excellent. Overall had a brilliant holiday away from cold weather in England.
