Cruise N603 Caribbean

I was disappointed in P&O. Firstly they sent my shore excursion documentation to another address; then got my peninsular membership number incorrect. Bolsover Cruise Club contacted P&O prior to departure when membership number was corrected, but once on board ship P&O stlll did not apply loyalty tier bonus. Took until 23rd January to sort that problem out (boarded on 18th January). Also only ?œ130 onboard credit was applied to my account instead of ?œ230; when I queried it at Reception I was asked if I had my booking confirmation as proof. Fortunately I had taken it with me, and on production of same, a copy was sent to P&O Office and eventually the correction was made. Needless to say, whilst I would have liked to book another cruiise next year, I think I shall book with Royal Caribbean instead as they certainly know how to treat repeat cruise members.

As it is because I am a solo traveller, the cost of P&O cruises are seriously “top-loaded”. I appreciate I am single occupancy of a twin cabin, but I am not eating for two, and when I go on “fly cruises” neither am I occupying two seats on an aircraft as invariably I am charged double the brochure price

Also P&O should look at re-designing layout of Havana. Screen dividers are too high, and unless people are sat in front of stage vision of acts are seriously impaired; whilst there are screens to watch, if I had wanted to watch TV, I would have stayed in my stateroom.
