disembarkation?

On the whole, a very enjoyable cruise as we got the weather we were looking for and met up with old friends. However, there were a few major points that let it down. One of the ports we were looking forward to was Cadiz and we had very little information as to why we didn’t get there. Information was always last minute on this ship and this captain was conspicuous by his absence. The entertainment officer was the same. We only saw him twice during the whole cruise. A lot of the activities over each day overlapped and when the theatre and shows and dining rooms emptied ,there wasn’t enough room for everyone to find a seat. There was a general lack of trivial quizzes .
Embarkation on this cruise was a breeze as we were off the coach and onto the ship within twenty minutes. However, disembarkation was a complete and utter shambles. Having to travel back to Scotland, we had to be up very early to have a breakfast and we were supposed to be off at 8 45 am and it was nearer 10 45am. Again, different reasons were given for this. Captain docked late or luggage not yet on the dock.
This final point has made us seriously think of looking else where for next years holiday . Full marks to Intercruise coaches for waiting for all the passengers to come off the ship.
