Enjoyed the cruise

It’s our first cruise with P&O as wanted to sail out of Southampton. We usually go Princess who we do prefer. It was a very similar layout to some of those.. The crew were brilliant and we have never known such a friendly Captain..On previous cruises sometimes never saw him…
We went on the behind the scenes tour which lasted nearly 4 hours .It was fantastic. Advertised in the evening newsletter and only 32 people could go. So don’t hesitate book soon as you see it. It seemed a lot to pay but I can assure you well worth it . Included was afternoon tea, champagne and canap??s at the end. When we got back to the cabin a goody bag for us plus free photo. The best part though was actually going onto the bridge ..wow.. We will definitely look out for these tours again.
Didn’t do any bus tours as like to do our own sight seeing and think sometimes it’s pay over the odds.
The food was good but have had better menus. The buffet was annoying as all the food wasn’t labelled so sometimes you hadn’t a clue what you were eating. The fine dining Epicuram was fantastic and Sindu a good Indian restaurant.
