Fjords are super

We were blessed with good weather and had a great trip. The ports of call are great and allow you to see the fjords up close. It is possible to book excellent trips upon reaching the ports. We enjoyed Olden, Flam and Stavanger. The trip on the Eco boat from Flam is excellent. The Flam railway is overpriced and overrated.

On board our cabin was great and cleaned very well. Disappointed with the dining experience. Service was slow until we hit upon an excellent waiter who stood out for service. The buffet was crowded with sections frequently closed. First experience with P and O. Not up to the standard of previous cruises. We were particularly disappointed with the smoking area being on the starboard promenade deck meaning that to walk the circuit you had to pass through smoke and vape. In addition the bar over the pool is also a smoking area. P and O must address this. The fjords are amazing, P and O less so. We will not cruise with them again.
